Avast has a nasty habit of blocking my server when things update. Head across to Avast Firewall is Blocking Network Share<\/a>. Some of the devices will automatically switch to the nearest node if you move around. But our laptops tend to hang onto the one they’re connected to. So when you move, sometimes you need to disconnect and reconnect to pick up a nearer node.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I’m trying to find a source to explain this. But in Avast, it refers to nodes by mesh_name1, mesh_name2. In other words somewhere there is a node name which maps to the mac address of the node. And when you change, it is getting a new alias to the network. Now these numbers are increasing in the Avast firewall, and I need to find out where to find more about the actual connection is stored. Perhaps this place needs cleaning out.
