Pick a nice warm day for pottering in the garden. It will be even better if you can find a friend to sit and chat with.
You will need Epsom salts, which is available in the supermarket. Then take a pair of scissors – there is a lot of cutting so get a pair that is easy to work with. And go cut flowers that smell nice.
Each flower needs to be cut into as many as possible tiny pieces – this would be a lot easier with a whizzing tool, but I don’t have one. Mix according to preference. Then scoop into the salts and leave for days to dry. Hopefully the salt will absorb the aroma of the flowers. And because they are dried, the flowers will keep their colour.
The result is so pretty. But doesn’t smell as strong as I hoped – I might go back to the instructions. I possibly left out a vital ingredient.
